You’re My Kind of Addiction
I love the excitement and I love you

You’re My Kind of Addiction
You’re my kind of addiction
Danger wrapped in skin
The type of love that promises
Then drags chaos in
I crave your late night phone calls
Your voice inside the dark
The fire behind your laughter
The trouble in your heart
Everybody warns me
Says I should walk away
Still I run back toward you
Every single day
You taste like bad decisions
Like storms before the rain
A beautiful disaster
Mixed perfectly with pain
Some loves arrive so gently
Ours crashes through the door
Turning quiet little moments
Into something wanting more
Even when we’re fighting
Even when we break
I still reach out for your touch
Like a habit I can’t shake
Maybe we were never healthy
Maybe that’s the truth
Still I’d choose your madness
Over living without you
You’re my favourite danger
The risk I always trust
My kind of addiction
Even if it ruins us
