You Made It All About You
You love you ok I get it

You Made It All About You
Every story circled back to your name,
Every hurt became your claim,
You never saw the tears I hid,
Only the praise for what you did.
I carried burdens without a sound,
While your demands kept gathering round,
The weight grew heavy upon my chest,
Yet your reflection mattered the best.
I listened through your endless pain,
Watched the same excuses play again,
Each conversation lost its way,
Returning to what you had to say.
The truth stood waiting at the door,
Unnoticed as it had before,
My voice became a distant call,
Drowned beneath your need for all.
You measured love in what you’d gain,
Ignored the damage and the strain,
Leaving cracks too deep to mend,
Breaking trust again and again.
One day I stopped and looked around,
At all the pieces on the ground,
The cost of keeping you satisfied,
Was losing parts of me inside.
Now silence fills the space between,
Revealing what had always been,
A life that revolved around your view,
Because you made it all about you.
The chapter closes where it began,
With me reclaiming who I am,
No longer trapped within your view,
No longer making it about you.
