You are so soft and so warm
My safe place, my comfort space
You never let me go, even when I need you to
Everyday I tried to get away, but your warmth pulled me back in
You know how to drain my energy
And the goals I have for that day is just gone
You do me so wrong
Yet at night when I cry about life you are there to comfort me
I get you all wet with my tears and snot, but I don't feel like changing you
So I just put my hand over the wet spot and lay my head on top
You are like my prayer closet that some people have
I pray every morning and every night
Hoping I am given the strength to let you go and follow my goals
But that first step away from you is very cold
And you yell at me to come back
Just want me to lay and play on my phone
I love you, but again I must say you are doing me so wrong
You just make me overthink all day long
Okay, I shouldn't blame you, its all on me
For you are just a bed where I lay my head
