It was March 11, 2008!

You sent a song, just a song.

Even though I waited for you so long!

No words. Just a song—telling me your feelings,

But not that you were wrong.

The singing lines say, “You deserve to be free.”

Feelings changed like the weather.

The eyes felt wet,

The pain was still there and burning,

Feelings still flaming.

So much pain that you couldn’t even breathe!

It was worse than death.

I was lost in that song.

I couldn’t see or breathe.

But we do not belong.

You are my heart’s thief.

I couldn’t,

I shouldn’t…

Our song is playing, it is an old flame, but it is not a game.

Oh! It burns; it burns a lot.

The only pain you brought.

It’s an old flame, and such will remain.

Eh, that song—still inside, breaks, once in a while, awakes.

Awakes with the same feelings, with the same burning and pain.

My inside voice screaming,

Having a shadow as a remain.

I couldn’t,

I shouldn’t…

Our song is playing, it is an old flame, but it is not a game.

Oh! It burns; it burns a lot.

The only pain you brought.

It’s an old flame, and such will remain.

Eh, that song… still inside, breaks, once in a while, awakes.
