You Can Call Me Mad—

But You’ll Never Know.

By ManthanPublished about a year ago • 1 min read

What I liked in you,

Don’t ask! I liked everything in you.

What I saw in you,

Don’t ask! I saw everything in you.

Why I am with you,

Because those things I didn’t get except in you.

*

In crowds, I only see you.

Alone too, I only see you.

*

There is no dream

in which I didn’t see you.

There is no such thought

in which you were not.

*

How badly I wish to see you,

How madly I want you,

How deeply I feel for you—

that only I know, not you.

*

How pleasuring it is seeing you smile,

How satisfying, watching you dance freely,

How comforting, seeing you carefree.

How I see you—you’ll never know exactly.

*

Maybe you’ll never realize

how you make me feel.

Maybe you’ll never see

how you exist inside me.
