You and Me Are Forever

Till the end of time

You and Me Are Forever

Through darkest skies dark or light,

We stand, unshaken, side by side.

The world could crack, the stars collapse,

But time won’t sever you from I.

Let silence fall, let echoes fade,

Let rivers turn to dust and stone.

No force could drag my heart away,

No fate could claim you as its own.

We carved our names in midnight’s breath,

In whispered vows that never break.

No end, no edge, no ending or regrets

Just you and me, and what it takes.

Let shadows crawl, let sunsets rise,

Let distance try to pull us thin.

No hand of fate, no cruel disguise,

Could ever separate us limb from limb.

Through fire’s ash and winter’s chill,

Through every scar the years bestow,

I’ll find you, love, I’ll hold you still.

Through time, through dark, through all below.

For even if the stars burn out,

And even if the sea runs dry,

We’ll rise beyond the reach of doubt.

You and me till death with no last goodbye.
