
My hollowed eyes pour light upon the earth for you.
Turning that dim murk into a clean morning.
Stealing the shadows from the flowers.
Allowing them to bloom and spread their beauty.
Scents of lilac and honey assault my blind heart.
I would burn it all.
But then I would not have you.
