Writing in the Sand

Exposed, and sins made known...

Exposed, and sins made known.

My naked body shivering, to all eyes shown.

Cornered, caught, and cast down at his feet,

But his response was more than sweet.

This level of love I had never seen.

Instead of judgement, on grace he did lean.

I will never forget that pile of rocks,

And all those faces, full of such shocks.

They thought they had won.

Then, accusations were silenced and done.

Writing in the sand was a peculiar sight.

All they wanted was to stir up a fight.

Today, I learned that all of us are equal,

That my life could have a new sequel.

This world we are all in,

Truly, everyone has fallen

Never will I forget his grace-filled gaze,

As I turned to go home and change my ways.
