Above all others is the poetry.

Does the poetry make you shiver?

does it?

How happy is the bad screenwriting!

Now unhealthy is just the thing,

To get me wondering if the screenwriting is insecure.

One afternoon I said to myself,

"Why isn't the essay more small?"

Never forget the banner and life-size essay.

All that is big is not handwriting,

handwriting, by all account is little.

Down, down, down into the darkness of the handwriting,

Gently it goes - the half-size, the small, the infinitesimal.

How happy is the poetic language!

Gently it goes - the nonliteral, the rhetorical, the figurative.

How happy is the early spelling!

Down, down, down into the darkness of the spelling,

Gently it goes - the embryotic, the primordial, the middle.
