Writers Block
and what i thought wasn't really real in reality
what is this dabbling, disabling affliction
that seems to simply strike unawares
the pen becomes the mightiest of weights
and page, all blank just stares
what is this literary attrition machine
that leaves me paralysed speechless and blind
and the letters and words themselves sit back in silence
condescendingly complicit with the rebelling mind
from where comes this blackening malady
where everything it sees, is erased
it courts the soul complete and whole
and not just the void does it embrace
why all these erosive random interruptions
procrastination juggles productivity again this day
the words dodge ever so slightly out of reach
and there, they flit tease and play

I don't believe in a writer's block. Writing is always there if you allow yourself to listen.
