Savoury Sea of Splendour

Small sockets of oil in the broth under my dripping nose.

Scallions swim between oversized whales made of dough and pork.

Siren's song is so sweet and salty, hearty and warm.

So long have I waited; waited for this delicious delight.

So long; long since my head became cloudy, eyes became heavy, and limbs became lead.

So, no longer shall I wait to dive into the gold waters of

Succulent garlic and ginger swirls.

Stomach expanding to accept the healing mix of flavors.

Sliding closed, my eyes look into the dark that now contains the spontaneous sparks of light

Simulating the sensations of my tongue and translating them into visual spector.
