Wonder

Down the Rabbit Hole

By Nicci HillsteadPublished 9 years ago • 1 min read

This world is my wonderland

I am its Alice

I'm mad I tell you

Racing to keep up with the times

I fell down this hole from I don't know where

I'm not sure how to get back

Crazies everywhere I look

I grow

I shrink

I run in fear

Not so sure why I am here

Who to trust

Which way to turn

So much I need to learn

Which way is up, Which to town

I must get back now

Doors big then small

I can't fit through

Then in this wonderland I meet you

Your stories are bizarre

I don't quite understand

The adventures that we go on

You say they're part of this plan

You'll take my hand

You'll walk with me

We'll sit down for some tea

Then just as life begins for us

I wake up from my dream...
