Without Him

I Die

Without Him

In fields of green, where wildflowers sway,

My heart doth search, night and day,

For him, my love, who did stray,

And left me here, to pine away.

The sun doth shine, the birds do sing,

But without him, all is wrong,

The wind doth whisper, the trees do bring,

No news of him, my heart doth cling.

The rivers flow, the mountains stand,

But where is he, my loving man?

I search the world, near and far,

To find him, my heart's only star.

The moon doth glow, the stars do twinkle,

But in my dreams, he is my only link,

The world may be vast and wide,

But without him, I am lost and hide.
