With All of My Senses
The feeling of wholeness
When I get quiet and tap into the well of peace,
everything is as it should be —
Blossoming
with a fragrance so divine that it takes my breath away.
Every fiber of my being knows that I am home — always, forever
Remembrance
And when the forgetfulness of the mind gets caught up
in mundane things —
Where are the car keys? Did I fold the laundry?
Catching my breath —
Gotta run, see ya later— be right back —
that’s divine, too, even with the distractions of my thinking box —
When the heavens blow kisses
and sprinkle stardust on me,
I drink in the scent of rose petals, moss, and dew drops
and become new again,
Feeling the softness of my skin and the deliciousness of my breath —
How can I not be whole?
Who taught me that I am broken like shattered glass?
Underneath the noise is my longing, my prayer
the cosmic giggles,
I dance with the trees, the wind, and the waters
I am the galaxy
