Winters Too Cold Summers Too Hot
No happy Medium is there folks

Winters Too Cold Summers Too Hot
Winters too cold, summers too hot,
nothing ever feels just right.
We complain our way through seasons,
from morning into night.
Cold creeps into our bones,
heat presses against our skin.
Each extreme testing patience,
wearing us thin.
We long for balance endlessly,
for perfect in between.
For days that ask nothing of us,
calm, mild, unseen.
Winter teaches endurance,
how to wait and hold on.
Summer teaches intensity,
how quickly comfort is gone.
We curse the weather constantly,
as if it listens or cares.
Forgetting how lucky we are,
to feel anything there.
Seasons do not owe us ease,
they arrive as they are.
Reminding us that comfort,
is often rare.
There is beauty in discomfort,
even when it bites.
Growth hides in inconvenience,
in long days and nights.
Winters too cold, summers too hot,
yet here we remain.
Living through every season,
again and again.
