A reflection on nature's cycle

Winter rains, a somber tune

Falling softly on the dune

Whispering secrets to the trees

A symphony upon the breeze

Grey skies, a misty veil

Hiding all but the gale's wail

Nature's tears, a cleansing flood

Washing away the old, the mud

The earth awakens from its sleep

Beneath the blanket, new life creeps

Buds form, roots delve deep

The cycle of life, for us to keep

As the rains pour down

And the winds howl a mournful sound

We are reminded of life's ebb and flow

And the beauty that can be found in woe.
