In winter's grasp, the world grows still,
As snowflakes fall, with silent will,
A blanket of white, soft and pure,
In the quiet hush, nature's allure.
The air is crisp, the sky is clear,
As winter's chill draws ever near,
Trees stand bare, their branches spread,
In the stillness of winter's bed.
From cozy hearths, a warmth doth rise,
As flames dance in flickering guise,
A refuge from the cold outside,
In the heart of winter's pride.
Yet amidst the frost, a beauty thrives,
In icicles' gleam and frosty skies,
The world transformed, a wonderland fair,
In winter's embrace, magic fills the air.
So let us embrace this season bright,
With its quiet beauty, soft and light,
For in winter's grasp, we find our place,
In the rhythm of time, in its gentle embrace.
