You are a wilting wildflower
And I am opening the curtains
Welcoming the sun in
To dance upon your petals
🎕
Your eyes are on the floor
Your name on my lips
I know I should have
Crossed arms and
Closed hands but
I am clinging to
The noose that is
Your attention anyway
🎕
The letters tangle
The words blur into
Muddled thoughts and
Breathless feelings
Because what is this
If not jumping from a bridge
And hoping I don't hit the ground
That I can so clearly see
Waiting to shatter me
🎕🎕🎕
