Will you still love me when the lights go down

the long way of saying ‘don’t let go’

Have you ever wanted to be unearthed

To feel the ties cut

The floating, rising

You are weightless

A blue balloon long forgotten

You are just a speck now

How small,

How insignificant,

How quiet,

A speck of dust in the tail of a comet

You are one out of

A million million particles

Matter moving across the galaxy

I wonder,

If the picture in the textbook would seem missing

Without you

The tiniest of pixels, absent

If you had just let go

Left out of print

A thought,

An idea,

A seed never planted,

If we just went back in time

To before we’d even be considered a part of existence

Would you still find me

Even after I’d ceased to exist until

I’ve been defibrillated back into life

If it would have all been reset

A new story, a new author, every page

A new world of possibilities

Would it be possible

For you to find me

Would you

Find me

It would be nice, if you find your true and you find them again and again in the time you are in. Timeless love forever . ♥️
