Will You Love Me In The Sun

Marry Me and Take Me To The Beach

My journal opened on an empty page

Pen in my hand I wrote your given name

We seek council in the wise seasoned sage

Summer surely will bring our love to claim

Our love kept in the frigid winter ice

The seasons warmth comes to thaw the heart

Flowers in color bloom, clean air - so nice

I'll paint your portrait - the purest of art

You'll pose for me in the beach or the park

On a soft blanket you'll sit - then stretch out

We'll dream together from sunrise to dark

Our love a strong bond, we never will doubt

Initials are yours, reads my new tattoo

Proclaiming summer love - bikini in blue
