Will You?

A Poem

Will You?

Will you stay with me when I'm old and grey? To watch as my skin starts to fold, like a rose withering away. To watch as my eyes grow tired and muscles grow weak.

Will you stay with me when old and grey? To start seeing the once microscopic pores turn into big craters like the moon. To see my hair start to fall out, only reminding you how old we are growing.

Will you stay with me when I'm old and grey? To watch my back start weakening, molding itself into a hunch. To see my skin grow thinner, like my once thick head of hair.

Will you stay with me when I'm old and grey? To take care of me when I grow too weak, like a rose slowly dying and bending, trying to find support

Through sickness and health and death do us part, will you stay with me when I'm old and grey?
