Why?

I'm hurt

Why?

The woman you swung at me so hard

Why did you hit me when I was down and defenseless?

Your child told you that I hit him and without questioning me

You grabbed the nearest belt and attacked me

All I ask is why?

Why?

Was I that bad of kid for you to resort to such violence?

You can deny a lie, but you cannot stifle the truth

You made me feel like a nobody when I was around you I brought home excellent report cards and academic awards

Nothing was ever good enough for you I did not even have a social life thanks to you Because of you, my perception of a woman is different

In the depth of my mind, I cannot help but wonder if most women behave identically to you
