Questioning the paradoxes

Why is it that dogs are the canines, yet it is cats who have the nine lives?

Why is it we love getting to know other people more deeply, only to complain they are shallow?

Why is it that when we ask for something to happen, we are then disgruntled it happened?

Why is it that war can only determine who is left? Surely, there are easier ways to establish who is right.

Why is it we long for the end, yet miss the beginning?

Why is it we can be completely defeated yet so too can the goal?

Why is it copywriters have absolutely no idea about copyrighting?

Why is it, that a trunk could be the elephant or the pants you pulled on this morning unless it’s the body you slid into the car yesterday?

Why is it we beat around the bush, yet get upset when others don’t understand?

Why is it librarians are fantastic bookkeepers but now we’re not talking about the same profession?

Why is it that we feed off money, but in truth, we are paying for others' incomes, accommodations, habits, and lifestyles?

Why is it called writer’s block, as a writer I’m yet to discover the elusive block? Certainly, I’ve lost my momentum or inspiration but never have I found the block.

Have you a clue, why it is so?
