Who would you be?

If you were true to you

Who would you be if you let it all go?

If you laid all of your doubts and insecurities to rest

If you spoke boldly about your deepest of fears, your darkest of wounds, your juiciest of desires

If you allowed love to just consume your entire being

If you allowed the ecstasy of this world to penetrate your skin

If you stripped off the mask you have been wearing for far too long

Who would you be if you stopped doubting yourself?

If you stopped overanalyzing, and over criticizing

If you stopped comparing yourself to others or to who you think you should be

If you stopped trying to be so fuckin perfect

If you stopped trying to gain recognition and approval

Who would you be if you decided to risk it all?

If you removed all hesitation - all fear - all questioning

If you allowed your soul to take the reigns

If you pushed through all the pain, all the sorrow and allowed all of your trauma to come to the surface

Who would you be if you stopped carrying all of your pain?

If you finally allowed the pain to rest

If you let it release from your body, from every pore, every cell, every inch of your being

Who would you be if you allowed people to see who you truly were?

If you dedicated your entire life unraveling the magical mystery that is you

If you put yourself first above all else because this life is your creation - this life is yours for the taking

Who would you be?

If you stopped living out someone else’s dreams

If you stopped allowing someone to dictate and control you

On who you should be and what you should do

Who would you be if you lost all that was once known and familiar?
