Who would have thought that no visits to friends and families would become a new normal? Or when in anticipation, bring so much dread for fear Covid is lurking and the eyes do not see.

Did anyone see the virtual experience wiping out the school experience as we know it?

Did anyone foresee that all hangouts would become a risky affair? Or window shopping fade into oblivion?

Who would have thought that hugs would become a taboo of sorts?

Or that masks would replace gorgeous smiles?

Oh, who would have thought that makeup would become a nuisance, getting cleaned out by the mask before it?

Well, now we know we can live without many things. When they existed, we were thrilled. Now they are gone, we adjust. At least the pandemic has taught us that much, and more!
