From days of a bully when I was young.
To become more vital to be number one.
No power in my strength but in my heart.
For a friend can go days apart.
Yet the best friend you could ever know,
Are you my friend, and you shall grow,
To appreciate the time you spend alone.
Especially when no one calls you on the phone.
Loving yourself is the best gift of all,
Yet having others beside you when you fall,
It is a bonus that some are blessed to know,
The pretenders who talk just let them go,
It would be best to have those who lift you, and you do the same.
For love and friendship is no game,
The joy you can share over a cup of tea,
Moments or memories you capture and see,
Friends are like sisters, brothers in a way,
Knowing they are near brightens your day,
Joining groups is excellent for making new friends,
Common interests, also cackling hens,
Time is precious, so enjoy it the best way you can,
Not dwelling on who you thought were your friends,
Enjoy life, do what you like to do,
not worry about who is who.

Hi "Friend?" What a terrific topic! I think people befriend me just for my money! Nah! My 'Circle of Life' was written on the premise of how re evolve. But, if you read my story 'The Last Valentine' I make it a point that I'm not into 'Cackling Hens.' Daahlink, my anthem is always to find a smile; I find them with yours!
