"White Moon's Invitation"

"A Poetic Plea for Celestial Company"

By Lily💜 Published 28 days ago 1 min read

Oh, white moon, white moon,

Will you cross the sky and come?

To play, I need a partner.

Oh, white moon,

Will you cross the sky

And come to play?

Before anyone in this world sees you,

We will send you back at dawn.

This is not darkness,

That is not light,

This is a golden moment that

Does not mix with either.

Do not bow your head,

Do not close your eyes,

Some buds will suddenly bloom into flowers.

After the whole world has fallen asleep,

We will hear the sound of flowers falling along with the grass.

In the lap of the night,

We will become children,

And there will be a moon to nurse us.

Who is the one who placed the moon

At an unattainable height?

Who is the one who made the wind

Uncatchable by hand?

Thinking about this,

I marvel at nature.

Who is the one who placed the moon

At an unattainable height?

We must make the flowers bloom

Without the spring breeze knowing.

Even the flower itself must not know

That it is tasting the honey.

Oh, to enjoy the world,

I need a boy like you.

Before anyone in this world sees you,

We will send you back at dawn.
