Cooked alive

Where fish once swam

Silence roams

A cry for help

An abandoned city

Which once held so much life

If you, like me, are horrified by the states of the world, one direct way you can help is by donating to coral restoration charities, like Coral Gardeners.

Corals are an incredibly important part of maintaining ocean ecosystems. Oceans are the largest carbon sink and corals are a significant part of keeping our oceans breathing. However, warming ocean temperatures lead to ocean acidification which in turns reduces the amount of carbon that can be sequestered in the ocean.
