It feels like a dead end, no finish line in sight,

Why did I embark on this journey?

I’m caught in a cycle, going round and round.

But surely, it has to end, where hope can be found.

***************************

We were not meant for each other

Forcing a connection, trying to control what is near,

Lost in the chaos, back to where I began,

But I’m still here breaking free from this cycle’s span.

***************************

Thought I found my person, thought I had it all

Life is in twists and turns, made me stumble and fall

Though it hurts so bad, I know it’s time to let go,

It hurts to say goodbye,

But I have to put this aimless journey to a halt.
