Beneath a sky of muted blue, She painted what she barely knew— A longing born from silent grace, A love unmet, a nameless face. Each brushstroke told a quiet tale, Of hopes set loose on winds so pale. No need for noise, no need for sound— Her world was still, her truth profound. And then he came, with steady tread, No words, no voice, just thoughts unread. A stranger cloaked in woven light, Who carried shadows soft and bright. He didn’t speak, but still she heard, His silence strong, his silence stirred. A single sketch—a mirrored pair, Two souls alone, yet standing there. She took his gift with trembling hand, No question asked, no bold demand. In that small page, a world was drawn, Where aching hearts could lean upon. Some love begins with flaring start, With blazing fire and racing heart. But theirs, like dawn, was slow and true— A tender spark the light once knew. No voice was raised, no grand romance, Just eyes that met by quiet chance. And in that gaze, both worlds aligned— Two silent hearts, no longer blind.
