"Whispers of the Heart"

a poem

By Sen SabPublished about a year ago • 1 min read

In the silence of the night,

When stars above begin to sigh,

A voice inside begins to rise,

A longing born of quiet cries.

The heart beats soft, a tender plea,

A secret whispered in the breeze.

It speaks of love, of dreams once near,

Now scattered like the autumn leaves.

The days are long, the nights too deep,

I hold the memories I can’t keep.

They slip through hands like grains of sand,

Too fragile to grasp, too pure to stand.

Yet in the dark, a spark remains,

A flicker bright through all the pain.

For though the world may tear apart,

Hope lingers still—inside the heart.

So let the winds of sorrow blow,

For I will find a place to grow.

In every tear, in every scar,

I’ll hold the light—no matter how far.
