In spring's embrace, the world awakes,
Bathed in hues of green, life's path it takes.
Blossoms dance upon the breeze,
As nature's canvas paints with ease.
Summer's warmth ignites the day,
Golden sunbeams light our way.
Laughter echoes, playful and free,
Underneath the shade of a vibrant tree.
Autumn arrives with a gentle sigh,
Leaves whisper secrets as they fly.
A tapestry of red, gold, and brown,
Nature's masterpiece, slowly unwound.
Winter's Chill, a frosty tale,
Snowflakes twirl, a delicate veil.
A hearth's embrace brings solace near,
Amidst the cold, love's warmth appears.
Seasons cycle, a waltz divine,
Each with its charm, a gift enshrined.
Nature's symphony, forever in tune,
A reminder of life's eternal bloom.

Remembering the rink
If you were there, you’ll never forget it. For decades, Durham Ice Rink was at the heart of the city’s social life. From Friday night ice discos to crowds roaring on the Wasps every Sunday, not to mention a proud history of figure skating and speed skating, the riverside rink was the place to be.
