In the labyrinth of broken trust, I wander alone,

Among the shattered fragments of what once was shown.

No thread to mend this torn tapestry of our kin,

For in the depths of betrayal, our bond wears thin.

Silent echoes of promises now ring hollow,

In the caverns of my heart, where sorrows wallow.

No words can bridge the chasm yawning wide,

Where friendship's flame once burned, now denied.

Each step I take is weighted with the pain,

Of knowing we can never be the same again.

The laughter we shared, the secrets we held dear,

Now drowned in the silence of betrayal's sear.

I search for meaning in the ruins of our past,

But find only echoes of a love that couldn't last.

Was it folly to trust, to believe in your guise?

Or was betrayal inevitable, hidden in your lies?

The memories haunt me, like ghosts in the night,

Each smile, each embrace, now tainted with spite.

I mourn for what we had, for what could have been,

But the wounds of betrayal run too deep within.

Yet amidst the darkness, a flicker of hope,

That someday, somehow, we'll find a way to cope.

For even in betrayal's wake, seeds of forgiveness grow,

A glimmer of light in the depths of our woe.

But until that day dawns, I'll tread this path alone,

Haunted by the spectre of a friendship overthrown.

In the ashes of betrayal, I'll find my strength anew,

And forge a future where trust is tried and true.
