Whispers of a Blossom

When The Flower Speaks

By Sara LorelPublished 2 years ago • 1 min read
The flower in meadows

In the embrace of fresh green grass,

I bloom, embracing the vastness with joy,

On the canvas of the garden’s colors,

I am in the flowers, in the breeze’s soft sighs,

I am the half-lit world,

In the quiet of the dawn’s first whisper,

I am the cradle in the lap of the west wind,

In the sweet lullaby of nature’s delight,

I open, I grow,

And bloom, only to wither in full splendor.

When the whole world lies in slumber,

When every direction is cloaked in darkness,

When nature stands bare,

And the light of dawn pierces the stillness,

I, with eyes half-open,

Gaze upon the moon’s beams as they dance.

I watch the weary wings of the stars,

Drenched in the morning dew upon their shoulders,

On nature's colorful hem,

I smile as I gaze,

And with that smile, I wither away.
