Whispers at Stonehenge
A magical night with in the stones

Whispers at Stonehenge
Beneath the hush of midnight’s veil,
We stood where shadows softly fell.
The stones loomed silent, worn with years,
Holding the weight of time and tears.
Orion’s light burned cold and bright,
A watcher in the endless night.
Its silver fire, so far yet near,
Drew breath between the stones so clear.
The earth exhaled a whispered sigh,
A voice as old as buried sky.
It spoke in echoes, lost and thin,
A song of those who’d once walked in.
Your hand in mine, so warm, so real,
A tether to the past we feel.
Our footprints brushed the ancient ground,
Yet left no trace where ghosts surround.
The wind, it turned, it called our name,
As if the stars had known our flame.
The hush between each measured beat
Was time itself beneath our feet.
But night must pass, as all nights do,
And dawn must steal this spectral view.
Yet in the dark where echoes range,
We loved beneath the stones of change.
