A Bus Stop Tale

In a world of concrete gray and skies so blue,
At a bus stop, patience tested, moments few,
Two hours I waited, my time a gift,
Destiny's dance, an unforeseen twist.

Late it arrived, that mechanical steed,
A tardy arrival, to my need it paid no heed,
A journey begun, a mission to embark,
Yet fate's design, an unexpected spark.

At my destined realm, the task unwound,
A truth unveiled, a puzzle unbound,
Other errands lingered, duties to bear,
In the tapestry of life, a tale to share.

Friends appeared, laughter filled the air,
Stories exchanged, moments to spare,
Best regards exchanged with heartfelt cheer,
Human connections, so precious and dear.

Sunset hues painted the sky's canvas wide,
Homeward I turned, with the day's tide,
Once more at the stop, my spirit at rest,
A journey concluded, feeling truly blessed.

Oh, the odyssey of a day well spent,
With twists and turns, an adventure lent,
A tale of waiting, meeting, and return,
In life's grand tapestry, a lesson to learn.
