Where Nothing Is

on hallucinations that happen as we grieve the empty space where someone used to be

I see you in peripherals;

you fill the room with empty stares.

The sight of you so beautiful--

why don't they see you are right there?

-

You fill the room with empty stares,

among the shadows, fleeting eyes;

why don't they see you are right there?

How can they say I have not tried?

-
Among the shadows, fleeting eyes

show formless faces, blinking out;

how can they say I have not tried?

Leave the veil, and open your mouth.

-
Show, formless faces, blinking out;

the sight of you so beautiful.

Leave the veil, and open your mouth!

I see you in peripherals.
