Where Love

Learns to Breathe Again

By Printique StudiosPublished 11 months ago • 1 min read

I felt you before I saw you,

a rhythm beneath everything quiet,

something soft,

steady,

alive.

The world paused for a breath,

and suddenly,

nothing else mattered.

The air carried your warmth

before your hand even found mine,

and time folded itself neatly

between one heartbeat and the next.

Every glance was its own language,

unspoken but understood,

like a melody that knew where to land

without ever touching the ground.

It wasn’t dramatic,

not even loud,

just this magnetic pull

that made ordinary seconds shimmer.

Then it changed.

A stillness that wasn’t silence,

but surrender.

I realized love wasn’t something that arrives,

it’s something that builds,

that breathes,

that chooses to stay

even when the world forgets to listen.

You became the rhythm

I didn’t know I needed to match,

the proof that hearts don’t echo in emptiness,

they call and are answered.

Now,

every pulse feels like a reminder

that I am not alone in this beating,

we are two hearts keeping time,

turning breath into belonging.
