Where Is Your Mind?

Why must summer go by so fast?

I spend the summer so carelessly when I should be making the most of it.

I wish those moments were never in the past.

You came up to me excited as ever, and you were surprised I was so fit.

I did not understand your twisted ways.

They all started to add up.

All of those many days,

Why in the world did you want a closeup?

You were forever honest.

I did not want to be you.

I admit I did (unknowingly) break our forever promise.

If only you knew I did not have a clue
