Where is it?

Dwelling past the ocean realm, west of the eastern sea,

A land full of turmoil, as horrid as it could be,

Battles waged under the moonlight,

Spirits weary, hosts wary, anxious breath at dawns light,

Hearts that yearned to be free,

A story told through constant prattle,

The rambling, the repetition,

The constant scorning, mocked warnings,

Pleasant conversation, calculated instigation,

Lies spread like seed towards a scattered harvest,

Weeds sprouting for surprised eyes to see,

Hearts and truth yearn to be free,

Storms that come at heavens proclamation,

Fear to strike the sure sensation,

Drums that pound for what’s in store,

The call for open war!

The constant shielding, the shrewdest judgement,

Misdirect, to protect, earnest plea and dishonest intent,

Courts a means to victorious end,

Pious temples to come and mend,

Paltry ointments, flesh to seek,

Dishonest trade that would soon wreak,

A place of war and plunder,

A land so torn asunder,

An oath sworn to his lord,

Pledged not with heart, but yielded sword,

A place where power rises, every thing that seeks all there is above,

Horrid, yet sure surprises,

Yet where, I ask… Is love?
