Where Do I Go From Here?

What is next?

How do I go back to being ordinary?

Is normal the same thing it was before?

Has anything truly changed?

Or is it just me?

I sense that I’ve been reborn.

But is my transformation enduring?

Am I the only one who expects things to be different?

I perceive that the world is spinning around me,

While I stand here as an observer,

Silent and unseen.

Has a magic spell caused all but me to forget?

I consider that the rest of the world has amnesia,

Unaware of all that we’ve seen and experienced.

The lack of awareness feels so cold and callous,

Like nobody cares or notices that reality has shifted.

Everyone witnessed the reformation.

But they’ve already buried those memories.

I am alone in my own truth.

I suspect that I perceive things no one else can.

But is it a gift or a curse?

    Lovely!!!👏💖😊💕

  • It's quite difficult when our reality has shifted but others remain oblivious. It makes us feel we don't belong there feel lost. It's quite unnerving. Loved your beautiful poem!
