Where are you kid?

Am I close to the end?

This is me starting to slip

I am losing my balance

and looking just to find my grip

I have no explanation

for how it got like this

please show me a sign

That there’s still a kid

That doesn’t believe

This is all there is

And still holds dreams

He knows that are his

Because he never traded

Something that could never be bought

To be someone he claimed

Had their ankles tied to the rocks

A shell of a man he’d rather not be

That lives his days exchanging

time for security

Am I close to the end?

I’m starting to slip

Am I close to the end?

Where are you kid?

Am I close to the end?

I’m starting to slip

Where are you kid?
