Where Are You

I'm on the path to you.

Where Are You

feels like I'm drowning

in all this emptiness

I said I'd do it alone

pave the path to you

water my flowers

and fight my demons on the way

but all I can think about

is where you are

fuck, even who you are

pacing around in all this space

I'd like to fill it up with you

how many circles do I have left?

I'm running out of sheep to count

I know there's a few miles more

before I find the girl you're waiting on

I'm waiting on her too

remind myself to smell the roses

and put the hourglass in the attic

a watched pot never boils

but fuck, it's a lonely path to you
