When Winter Wanes

Top Story - April 2023

weave warmth within, weaken, wear,

wide-eyed, wakeful.

Whimsical waterfowl wade,

watchful, webbed.

Wolvish weeds won’t wither,

waking wildly, wealthily.

Wanderers wander, writers write.

While wombs widen,

wardrobes wither.

Woods wax,

wrens work.

When winter wanes,

we will welcome
