When the World Turns Soft

The shadows lose their edges

There’s a moment—

just before the dawn—

when the world turns soft,

and everything holds its breath.

The shadows lose their edges,

melting into whispers of light,

and the sky spills quiet colors

that no one ever names.

In that fragile stillness,

the heart finds room to wander—

through the tangled vines of memory,

through the scattered petals of hope.

It’s a place where time slows,

where the weight of yesterday

slides gently off the shoulders,

and tomorrow feels like a secret waiting to unfold.

Here, beneath the tender glow,

we are not the sum of our mistakes,

not the noise of our fears—

but simply the breath

between two worlds,

waiting for morning to begin.
