When the World closed for a while.
The time we gave our lives

The world has closed its doors for a while,
But, whilst we stay inside; Nature beams her smile.
Whilst we are at home busy saving lives,
Birds are chirping and Bees are working their hives.
Where smog once hung above our Towns,
The Sun’s rays now beam down.
But stuck inside we feel apart,
Missing loved ones with a heavy heart.
It’s hard to remember the good you doing
When you miss the world as you knew it.
A new normal is beaming through,
One where love and nature is shining through.
For we gave up the lives we live,
To help the frailest and the sick.
Captain Tom gave his 100 laps,
And every Thursday the Uk claps,
We maybe alone - but we are never apart
We are connected by our growing hearts.
