Lonely is the night,

Lonely is this walk I take alone;

I keep on walking,

I keep on walking,

With tears shining like diamonds in my eyes,

A million twinkling lights guide me,

Lighting every step I take,

I keep on walking,

I keep on walking,

With tears shining like diamonds in my eyes,

I wish I could have told you how much

I love you, once more,

Oh,

How I would die,

Just to hold you in my arms once again,

I keep on walking,

I keep on walking,

With tears shining like diamonds in my eyes,

I look up to the night sky,

As I do,

The stars fall to Earth;

The frosty shimmer,

Dancing with my feet,

Their icy eyes stare at me,

Brighter than any I have ever known;

I keep on walking,

I keep on walking,

with tears like diamonds shining in my eyes,

And;

I know I'll never be lonely,

Because when the stars fall to Earth;

I know you are watching me.
