What We Need To Keep Us Away From The Edge

When The Silence A Night Cafe Creation by Mike Singleton

Just a few thoughts on how we feel at times,

Sometimes we really need quiet and time to ourselves.

Other Times We Need Company

I usually feel the latter, but actually have to make do with the former.

Sometimes We Need Quiet

Sometimes We Need Time To Our Selves

Sometimes We Need Our Own Space

Sometimes We Need To Switch Off

No Phone

No Computer

No Company

Sometimes We Need Friendship

Sometimes We Need Inspiration

Sometimes We Need A Hug

Sometimes We Need A Little Love

Yes!! That was so well done and exactly how I feel on many occasions–both the singing and the screaming. Loved it :)

This is incredible. Well done. Also, love that version of the song.

  • I'm an introvert who likes being left alone so I prefer the silence to sing instead of scream. Loved this brilliant poem!
