When The Silence
What We Need To Keep Us Away From The Edge
Just a few thoughts on how we feel at times,
Sometimes we really need quiet and time to ourselves.
Other Times We Need Company
I usually feel the latter, but actually have to make do with the former.

I like this. Very easy to read and understand. It represents a multitude of emotions!!!
I can so relate to both kinds of need. For me, the quiet time alone is hard to come by, but I guess semi-quiet time with family is the next thing to it. I am sorry you are sick. Sore throat is the pits. You might want to gargle with some warm salt water and drink some warm chicken broth. That was always part of my mom's TLC when I got strep throat. Take care of yourself and get well ❤️🩹 soon!
Wonderful poem! I actually need both types of silence at different times.
Splendid silence slam poetry!!! Take care! (HUGS!) 🤗💖💕
Self care for sure . The song good so well with the song choice ♥️🥰I totally agree with the poem. I hope you feel better soon.
Yes!! That was so well done and exactly how I feel on many occasions–both the singing and the screaming. Loved it :)
This is incredible. Well done. Also, love that version of the song.
I'm an introvert who likes being left alone so I prefer the silence to sing instead of scream. Loved this brilliant poem!
