When Love Becomes Silence

Where light fades, something remains

I didn’t ask for much.

Just a calm glance at the end of the day

and a presence that doesn’t hurt.

But some people don’t stay

They pass through us

like light that never lingers.

And then silence remains,

speaking louder than words.

Every day becomes a new map,

with no directions, no signposts,

like an island never discovered,

even by its own steps.

And the nights…

The nights turn into glass

that cannot be seen, but cuts.

I don’t blame you.

We never knew how to stay

without losing ourselves.

And me?

I learned to live with absence

like a shadow that never leaves.

And the strangest thing is this:

Love does not disappear

It only transforms

into something that quietly hurts.
