Hard times, no stronger to this.

Grown-up fast.

Never to appreciate fun or joy.

You took so much away.

While others got to enjoy being taught how to wear makeup and bond.

You had been a coward.

You never loved me.

You never appreciated me.

Louise this, Louise that.

Harsh words were shared.

No meaning to living

No appreciation for the brightness of the light.

All of my life I asked myself, what did I do? To deserve this.

Never once did I get an answer.

You took it all, hidden behind the darkness you cling to.

I want to say I hate you, but my heart says I love you.
